Remote Solar is a

Colorado-based licensed electrical contracting company

specializing in off-grid and battery backup solar energy systems. We build complete turnkey systems for almost any remote application from cathodic protection systems and well pumps to weather stations and telecomm to new micro-solar applications. The scope of our work ranges from large scale commercial operations down to ranches, full-time homes, and even cabins. We proudly serve the off-grid community throughout the Rocky Mountains and surrounding areas. We've been in business since 1997, and currently have 3 NABCEP certified installers on the team. Ray Walters, the founder, has been designing and installing PV systems since 1986. He holds a BS in Engineering as well. His work has ranged from solar water pumping systems in Africa to managing utility scale PV plants. He has lived and run the business off-grid for many years in Taos, New Mexico, before relocating to Colorado. Remote Solar is our contracting and installation branch, while Solarray.com concentrates on sales of packaged and DIY off-grid systems nationally to end users.
